Print

print is performed with constant speed regardless of type or volume of data put out to print, i.e. print speed does not depend on tightness or length of a laying out, pattern size, or number of comments;
resolution (102/254 dpi) and line type (standard or heavy) can be set by an operator depending on the task;
any paper can be used (standard, recycled etc.), with max roll diameter 230 mm and no weight limitations;
two types of paper tension:
print on aluminum reel for high productivity or night print;
free tension for quick discharge of markers without stopping the plotter (optionally);
electronic warning about paper running out;
electronic warning about paper stuck.

Technological control of

ink level;
paper damage;
paper running out.

Mechanics

print is performed without touching the paper;
simple side printing ensures reduction of mechanical stress and maintenance costs.

Electronics

SELF-TEST: the plotter offers easy automatic tests which help control operating condition and reset plotter configuration when necessary; they are stored in internal plotter memory so an operator can access them without an external computer;
AUTO-DIAGNOSTICS: when switched on, the system makes auto-diagnostics of all the stages of the functions performed. In case of incorrect work, a series of questions pop up on the screen to help an operator solve the problems. In case of more serious problems the operator is sent to the trouble shooting manual to define and send the information to Algotex service centre and get recommendations for solving the problem.
CONTROL FROM A REMOTE WORKPLACE: it is possible to run the plotter or check the print status from a remote workplace or through the Internet.
